Customer Agreement

Please understand that we at Pretty Paws (LLC) really want to help you in your quest to take care of your beloved animal, but not at our expense. Please be considerate and honest about any questions that you are asked, whether verbally or written within our agreement and disclaimer.

Dog Temperament: We request that you, as the pet owner, be forthright with all information about how your dog interacts with strangers, no matter how insignificant you feel that it is. This could mean the difference between getting bitten or not. Pretty Paws reserves the right to deny service regardless of the circumstance(s). We will still try to accommodate you if we can. If your dog is aggressive towards strangers, we will ask that you muzzle them prior to them coming into our possession. Muzzles will be provided if you do not own one. If during the groom, your dog is uncontrollable, we will terminate service and ask that you come pick up your dog.

Fur Matting: A lot of pet owners really don’t know, if at all, that their animal is matted. An evaluation of matting will be made at the time of drop off. If it is determined that the matting is substantially more than initially identified, Pretty Paws will contact the owner to discuss options. These options include - proceed with a de-matting service, which will have an additional service fee - a shave down, which will be included free of charge in the standard groom price - or the service will stop and the owner will only be charged for services provided up to that point.

*If the matting is only slightly worse than initially determined, as a courtesy, we will continue the service with no additional fees.

Health Issues: If your animal has any health conditions that could become problematic during a grooming session, please take them to a veterinarian first and seek guidelines for grooming or if they should be groomed at all. Pretty Paws does not accept liability for any health issues that may arise during a grooming session.
